WHAT YOU NEED FOR A GOOD BIRTHDAY PARTY...

A fun location- location is very important but don't think you need to spend a lot of money on a place. Find a restaurant that has a party room, transform your house into a fun lounge area. Look at places outside of the city. One of my favorites is ZAPP HALL which is an hour and half outside of houston.

Food- Your food can tell a guest a lot about what type of party it will be. If your party is around a meal time it's probably a good idea to serve a full meal. If the parties in between snacks are more appropriate. I always say air on the side of having more food options than not enough.

Decor- Pinterest is one of the best resources for party decoration ideas. Even if you don't end up making something you see it's a great way to get inspiration. Decorations don't need to be over the top. Something as simple has table clothes, a string of lights and a homemade party banner are all you need. Some of my favorite decorations are the tissue paper Pom Poms. The now sell them in lots of color choices at your local party city or party store.
